Let's Hoist The Tiranga, Upload Your Photo

On the occasion of 15th August, MyGov Uttarakhand warmly invites all citizens to join the Tiranga Hoisting activity and celebrate the spirit of Independence Day. This is a moment to come together as proud Indians and honour the sacrifices of our freedom fighters. Raise the National Flag high, capture the vibrant and patriotic moments, and share them on the MyGov Uttarakhand platform for the nation to see. Through this initiative, let us showcase Uttarakhand unity, pride, and unwavering love for our country, inspiring others to keep the Tiranga flying high in their hearts.

How to Participate:
1. Hoist the Tiranga on 15th August.
2. Capture a photograph of the moment.
3. Upload your entry on the MyGov Uttarakhand platform.

Let’s make this Independence Day memorable by painting Uttarakhand in the colors of our Tiranga!

Terms and Conditions:
By submitting your selfie to this campaign, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. You grant the Government of Uttarakhand royalty-free, non-exclusive, worldwide license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, distribute, and display your selfie in any and all media, including but not limited to government websites, social media pages, and print publications.

2. You agree that Government of Uttarakhand may use your selfie for any purpose, including but not limited to promoting government programs and services, educating the public about government initiatives, and raising awareness of important social issues.

3. You represent and warrant that you are the sole owner of the copyright in your selfie and that you have the right to grant the license described above.

4. The selfie posted by you does not have any harmful message/ does not hurt the sentiments of any. The content posted by you should not be disrespectful to any government initiative.

5. Organizers of the activity reserves the right to select or reject any selfie.

6. Participants must make sure that the information in their profile is accurate and updated as it will be used for any further communications. This includes name, address, email address, phone number, nationality, photo, etc. Any entry with incomplete or inaccurate information will not be considered.

7. The participant will take the undertaking that the work submitted is original and their own work.

8. The initial entry shall be submitted in JPEG and PDF format only.

9. File should be of high resolution – at least 1000 pixels per inch at 100% size. File should look clean (not pixilated or bit-mapped) when viewed on screen at 100%. Entries should not be submitted in compressed or self-extracting formats.

10. The content must be original and should not violate any provision of the Indian Copyright Act, 1957. Anyone found infringing on others’ copyright would be disqualified from the competition. Government of India does not bear any responsibility for copyright violations or infringements of intellectual property carried out by the participants.

11. Participant is to make sure that his/her MyGov profile is accurate and updated since the Ministry would be using this for further communication. This includes name, contact number and email id. Entries with incomplete profiles would not be considered.

12. Organisers reserve the right to cancel or amend all or any part of the campaign and/ or the Terms & Conditions/ Technical Parameters/ Evaluation Criteria.

However, any changes to the Terms & Conditions/ Technical Parameters/ Evaluation Criteria, or cancellation of the task will be updated/ posted on the MyGov Uttarakhand platform. It would be the responsibility of the participants to keep themselves informed as to any changes in the Terms & Conditions/Technical Parameters/ Evaluation Criteria stated for this campaign.
