Districts are the de facto front-end of government where most Government-to-Consumer or G2C interaction takes place. The eDistrict project was conceptualized to improve this experience and enhance the efficiencies of the various Departments at the district-level to enable seamless service delivery to the citizen.

I think this type of step taken by the Uttarakhand government is a very right and welcome step,which will propel it's citizens,to make use of the internet and come to know about the important steps taken by district wise,.And also will let people save time in finding the information running helter and skelter as the informaton will now be able to get in finger tips of the individual.
