Districts are the de facto front-end of government where most Government-to-Consumer or G2C interaction takes place. The eDistrict project was conceptualized to improve this experience and enhance the efficiencies of the various Departments at the district-level to enable seamless service delivery to the citizen.

A district of Uttarakhand state is an administrative geographical unit, headed by a District Magistrate (earlier called District Collector), an officer belonging to the Indian Administrative Service. The district magistrates are assisted by a number of officers (such as deputy collector, assistant collector, assistant district magistrate, sub-divisional magistrate, tehsildar, naib tehsildar belonging to the Uttarakhand Civil Service and other Uttarakhand state services.

It is a wonderful initiative by Uttarakhand government of creating eDistrict portal that will immensely benefit the citizens. This will help in enhancing the efficiencies of the various departments at the district level. I hope other states too will implement this initiative.

The Mega All India Drone Festival was organized

i wanted to take my kids in the festival, but because of less advertisement and information, i knew about it only on 21Feb.
govt organizes such big events for promotion, awareness, updating latest technology, for creating interest in students so that they can contribute in technology development.
all local schools, organizations, social organizations, clubs should be informed for participation in advance

Sir mai ye chahta hu ki hmare gramin mai koi v work ho ya koi v kam govt se aaye uski puri jankari gramino ko di jaye vo v gram padhan ke madayam se jaise kitna paisa aaya hai kya kam aata hai Jo kam aaya hai uski jarurat kha hai logo se puche fir kam kiya jaye ek baithak ho vha ye bate gram padhan ke dwara btayi jaye! Kyoki goun mai i so ko v pta nhi kya kam aaya hai kitne pause aaye hai kya kam huya gram padhan SB kha jata hai aur hme pta v nhi lgta pls sir AGR ye bat hmare mukhymantri tk jaye
