Districts are the de facto front-end of government where most Government-to-Consumer or G2C interaction takes place. The eDistrict project was conceptualized to improve this experience and enhance the efficiencies of the various Departments at the district-level to enable seamless service delivery to the citizen.

Its good initiative by the government...but UK gov must proactively solve problems through social media platforms like twitter, Facebook,etc..most of states specially UP gov has social media handles of district police station and dm offices actively solve problems on twitter itself..this is urgent need...i see that none of the UK gov social media platforms actively engage with people's who have real problems...we need to use technology best way possible...
