Dehradun has been shortlisted in the Smart Cities challenge by Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs.

The Dehradun Municipal Corporation hereby invites citizens to come forward and share their opinions about the issues and bottlenecks plaguing the city and suggest their vision along with innovative, sustainable and SMART solutions with regard to the following Area-Based Strategies:

• Retrofitting (Planning and improvement of infrastructure in an existing built-up area).
• Redevelopment (Replacement of existing built-up area and co-creation of new layout with enhanced infrastructure).
• Greenfield Development (planning and development in new areas)

Dehradun Municipal Corporation is looking forward to the valuable suggestions and continued support of all Dehradun citizens in this endeavor.

The measures taken against the spread of Covid-19 will slow down climate change because CO2 emissions are drastically reduced. Now we see what humanity is actually capable of in case of emergency. On a separate note the world is unified against a single threat so I think we can use that experience in the future to tackle all problems we face.

Govt.shud focus on proper maintenance of existing infra/setup and install such a new system; replacement Or maintenance of which is required least.
1-Roads are repaired every year
2-Drains are choked even in first rains
3-Garbage collection/Disposal system collapses every now & then
4-Only Dust and garbage is seen on both sides of roads
5-No control over schools fees,books,uniform,kids tpt.system
6-Inverter is must
7-RO is must
8-Parking inside Malls must be free
9-Traffic bottleneck

4) Train educated students(healthy age 25-35) for emergency situations like updations on computer system no. of people starts fever and symptoms in each Mohallas.
5) These student Volunteers must have proper dress and mask so that they visit home and can give proper data to govt.. No. of patients that have problem, what is there age group, who has to send which nearest hospitals where crowd is less.

Hello Govt. officials
The way officials here are working is not up to date.
1) Area/Mohallas are not sanitizing by officials.
2) Provide Wheat and rice (for 6 month according to center govt. norm) at home to curb the crowd fear of Kalabazari/black-marketing.
3) Seeing the conditions of Italy it is clear that Mask, sanitizer and doctor-gown are needed at last so use local tailors and home ladies for this.
If you provide the clothes they will sewing it free for sake of country

Please read "How can we develop our city for fighting with Corona Virus" If we take Quick Action then only we can safe our India with this crisis.
1) We need to make an app like Hong kong which detects our location of patients clinic of centers. It can excess location through satellite and GPS of cellphones.
2) Everyone must pay to govt. for Rs 500-1000 to govt.
3) Need of more sanitizer for labs for cleaning dress.
4) Bulk production of MAsks and a lot for free or at less cost.
