Dehradun has been shortlisted in the Smart Cities challenge by Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs.

The Dehradun Municipal Corporation hereby invites citizens to come forward and share their opinions about the issues and bottlenecks plaguing the city and suggest their vision along with innovative, sustainable and SMART solutions with regard to the following Area-Based Strategies:

• Retrofitting (Planning and improvement of infrastructure in an existing built-up area).
• Redevelopment (Replacement of existing built-up area and co-creation of new layout with enhanced infrastructure).
• Greenfield Development (planning and development in new areas)

Dehradun Municipal Corporation is looking forward to the valuable suggestions and continued support of all Dehradun citizens in this endeavor.

Govt.shud focus on proper maintenance of existing infra/setup and install such a new system; replacement Or maintenance of which is required least.
1-Roads are repaired every year
2-Drains are choked even in first rains
3-Garbage collection/Disposal system collapses every now & then
4-Only Dust and garbage is seen on both sides of roads
5-No control over schools fees,books,uniform,kids tpt.system
6-Inverter is must
7-RO is must
8-Parking inside Malls must be free
9-Traffic bottleneck
